Visit to DSCI

Yesterday I happened to go Delhi State Cancer Insitute to discuss some radiation shielding isssues with Prof. P S Negi and Dr.R K Grover on their upcoming Brachy cum Simulator suite.

Dr. Negi after discussions took me on facility tour and was surprised to find a Government Institute going out of the way to match ambience and aesthetics of any star rated facility in India or abroad with state of art equipments (Three Linacs with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SRT, SBRT facilities, Physics Lab, Modern Mould Room etc.).It is great boon for general public to get up to date facilities at lowest possible costs.

I could see the corridor swarming with public to avail the facility and wish Dr. Grover and team a great success in this endeavor.




Understand in next phase it is getting PET-CT with cyclotron facility.

Looking beyond sun set

It is not always that evening sky can enthrall you....life, scenes, images are everywhere for us to capture. What about well lit underpass (well there is light necklace in the tunnel, not only the light at the end of tunnel)..... if you want to create dancing lights, just follow tail lights of moving traffic ahead and click with unsteady hand...enjoy another evening...may be little different way
